No, IV Solutions is a specialized home infusion pharmacy. Our role is to expertly prepare and deliver custom medications, IV fluids, and infusion pumps. Your dedicated hospice nurses, the clinical team you already know and trust, will administer the therapies as part of your ongoing care. We work behind the scenes to make sure your nurses have everything they need to support you.
How will I receive my medications and supplies?
We coordinate directly with your hospice team to manage all logistics. Medications and essential IV supplies are shipped securely to your home, ensuring your nurse has everything they need. By managing the fulfillment process, we eliminate the need for pharmacy trips.
What happens if there is an issue with the infusion pump or medication?
Your hospice nurse is always your primary point of contact for clinical care and emergencies. We support your nurses by providing them with 24/7 access to our on-call clinical pharmacists. Whether your care team has a question about a medication formulation or needs help with an infusion pump, we are always here to support them so your comfort is never interrupted.
Is it safe to receive IV therapy at home?
Yes, it’s safe and common to receive IV therapy at home under the supervision of a licensed hospice care team. Our in-house manufacturing facility operates under the strictest national safety and quality standards to guarantee every medication is accurately formulated.
