Founder
Jerry Ewancio, the founder of IV Solutions, is a pharmacist whose dedication to hospice care is both professional and deeply personal. After experiencing firsthand the profound impact of compassionate, well-supported comfort care on families, he established IV Solutions. His purpose was clear: to ensure hospice providers have reliable access to the medications and support their patients need, when they need it most.
Unlike corporate-driven infusion providers, Jerry built IV Solutions to be fundamentally hospice-centered. His hands-on approach and clinical expertise guide a team that understands the urgency, complexity, and humanity of hospice care. For Jerry, this work has never been just about supplying medications; it’s about showing up for patients, families, and clinicians during life’s most critical moments.
Samantha Ewancio
Practice Administrator
As practice administrator for IV Solutions, Samantha Ewancio supports the daily operations that allow patients and their families to receive compassionate, dependable care during some of life’s most challenging moments. She works closely with the clinical team and company partners to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes so the focus can remain on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Being part of hospice care is incredibly meaningful to Samantha, and she takes pride in contributing to an environment that supports both patients and the dedicated team who cares for them.
Dr. Kalee Jones
PharmD
Dr. Kalee Jones is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy with over 10 years of experience in patient care and pharmacy leadership. Licensed in Maryland, Delaware, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Texas, she brings a strong foundation in clinical decision-making and patient education to the IV Solutions team. Her work supports not only the local community but also hospice patients nationwide. Outside of the pharmacy, Dr. Jones loves to travel, garden, and spend time with her dogs.
Dr. Miranda O’Brien
PharmD
Dr. Miranda O’Brien graduated in 2005 from the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in Winchester, VA. After working for 20 years in retail pharmacy, she found a more fulfilling career at IV Solutions in 2020. Here, she supports her patients with compassion and expertise, focusing entirely on comfort and quality of life. Dr. O’Brien is currently licensed in Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, Michigan, Oregon, and Massachusetts.
Skylar Mariani

Skylar Mariani serves as an Intake Coordinator at IV Solutions and brings 12 years of experience in the pharmacy field. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Diversity Awareness. Skylar is deeply committed to compassionate, patient-centered care and ensuring the efficient, seamless coordination of services for every family she supports.
Jaimie Malone

Jaimie Malone has been a dedicated member of the IV Solutions team since 2018. Having worked as a pharmacy technician since 2011, she has always been deeply involved in hospice care. Jaimie has seen firsthand the profound difference that hospice makes for patients and families, which fuels her passion for helping people during trying times.

I am a Pharmacy Technician with 8 years of experience, including 6 years in sterile compounding. I specialize in hospice medications, IV antibiotics, and chemotherapy preparations, and am committed to providing safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, attending live music events, and relaxing at the beach with my family.
